The weather was fine for the Guide Dogs Open Day on Sunday and it didn't rain, phew. We were selling black peas and ice cream. It was a bit colder and windier than last year so we sold a lot more black peas but less ice cream. Thanks everyone who came!
Bromley Cross Village Market has now moved to Walmsley parish hall. We were still selling cheese, cheese and potato bakes and ice cream. Thanks everyone who came along! We won't be at the next one in June, and then the market has the summer off, but we'll be back in September for the Autumn markets.
We were at New Higham on the first of May selling cheese and ice cream. It was too cold most of the day for the ice cream but the cheese sold well. I'd never been to New Higham before, its a nice place. They had a may pole with dancing.
