Hoghton Tower Farmers Market - September
Hoghton Tower was good this month. It was nice and busy. It was miserable when we arrived but then the rain stopped and it was alright for the rest of the day. We were selling black peas, soup and ice cream. We'll be back next month!
Ashton Market on the Square September
We were at Ashton Market on the Square on Saturday. It was a lovely sunny day. It was better than last month, with the terrible wind, but a little quiet. We'll be back again next month with cheese and cheese and potato bakes. There was a medieval festival on in the square as well.

It was foggy first thing on the Bank Holiday Monday for the New Higham Scarecrow Festival but after dinner it all burnt away and got very hot. We did very well in the end and sold nearly everything, thanks everyone who came along! It was a very busy event.

Cuerden Valley Farmers Market - August
It was a lovely sunny day at Cuerden Valley Farmers Market today but it was still a bit quiet. Maybe everyone had gone to the Bolton Food Festival. We sold some ice cream and soup but very few black peas. We'll be back next month.

Hoghton Tower Farmers Market August
The weather forecast was bad for Hoghton Tower today so I wasn't expeting much but it was alright in the end, and didn't rain at all. It was a bit windy though. We were selling the first of my whinberry ice creams, there are still plenty left for the next few markets. We'll be back next month.

Ashton Market on the Square August
We were at this new market on Saturday. It was well run and organised with a dj in a gazebo playing music all day, which was a nice change. We were doing well, considering it rained some of the time and the weather forecasts had been terrible. Sadly in the afternoon it got freakishly windy and starting blowing the gazebos and all the stalls around so we went home so they could take the gazebos down. We'll go again if we can because I think it would be a good market on a better day.
