I was worried before Edenfield Village Fete on Saturday as the weather forecasts were terrible. In the end the weather was fine, just a bit rainy, nothing like what had been forecast. It was a good day. We were selling black peas and macaroni cheese. Thanks everyone who bought something, it was a good event. Here's a few photos from before it started.

Hoghton Tower was very good this month after a couple of quiet ones. We sold lots of ice cream, and did fine on the soup and black peas. Thanks everyone! We'll be back all the other months of the year.
We were at the Makers Market at the Parish Church in Bolton today. I was selling cheese, bakes and ice cream. It went very well, thanks everyone! I'll go again next year if I can. It was a very warm and sunny day but cool inside the church.
