Appley Bridge Farmers Market June

Appley Bridge Farmers Market was great this month, we did really well. Thanks Appley Bridge! Here's some photos of our new blue and white oilcloth we got for the stall. And also the bouncy castle they had at the market for children.

Caton Gala

On Saturday we did Caton Gala. We sold plenty of ice cream and loads of cheese. Very luckily it didn't rain. Here's a few pictures of the gala site before it opened. It's a massive field in Caton just behind the Station pub.

Heald Green Farmers Market

On Sunday we went to Heald Green Farmers Market. It was too grey and cold to sell ice cream so we didn't do very well. I'd like to try it again on a nice sunny day though. They had a petting zoo and the birds shown above, on the farm. It's a nice place and very well organised.

Hornby Farmers Market - May

Hornby Farmers Market was good again this month. it was a little quieter than the month before, but they had a really good band. It was two blokes playing a banjo and a guitar. They were great and even played 'Dueling Banjo's'

Next time we will bring along some litre tubs of ice cream and see how they go.

It was very wet at Hoghton Tower this month. We did alright though selling black peas and leek and potato soup. Here's a photo of my fancy gas burners.
