Hornby Farmers Market - March

Hornby Farmers Market was good on Saturday. I was worried about the weather because we were outisde on the front street, due to a wedding. At first it was cold, and then it snowed and hailed, but afterwards it went nice and sunny. We had a good market, the best there of the year. Next week we are at the first new Caton Farmers market on Saturday, why not come along?

Marple Farmers Market - March

I might have said some of the other markets were cold but they were tropical compaired to this one. Brrrr. We didn't sell any ice cream unsurprisingly but we sold lots of Greenfields Goats and Sheeps cheese. We'll be back next month, lets hope it is warm and sunny.

Hoghton Tower - March

Hoghton Tower was a bit quiet this month, due to the weather being nasty. We sold some ice cream though, and black peas and our spicy carrot and red lentil soup. We'll be back next month, hopefully it will be sunny and warm.

Mere Brow / Holmestead Farmers Market - March

Mere Brow Farmers Market has moved to a new site at Homestead Farm. Its not very far away from the old place. It has a cafe and a farm shop. We did well considering it was a very very cold and damp day. Hopefully next month the weather will be better. We sold a lot of cheese but not as many pasties as usual, next month I'll bring more cheese and potato bakes. Thanks everyone who came along!

Hornby Farmers Market - February

We were at Hornby Farmers Market yesterday. We were upstairs in a different room but people still came along. We sold all our bakes and cheese and onion pasties and plenty of cheese. We'll be back next month when it will be outside for one month only, hopefully the weather will be good.

Hoghton Tower Farmers Market - February

It was a lot sunnier at Hoghton Tower this month. We were selling black peas and my new tuscan bean soup, which I thought came out very well. Also we had our first ice crema of the year. I only had chocolate, vanilla and mango but will have lots more flavours as soon as any fruit is ready. Next month we are back to doing lots of markets after our Winter quiet bit.

Hoghton Tower - January

This was our first market of 2013. Luckily the snow wasn't too deep and it went quite well for January. We were selling black peas and carrot and red lentil soup and I sold most of what I brought. Thanks everyone who bought something!
