Up Holland Community Fair

We were at St Johns The Martyr Church in Up Holland today for their Community Fair. It was a very nice event and we nearly sold out of all our cheese and bakes. Up Holland is a very nice village, I've never been there before.

Heskin Hall Pirate Day

Heskin Hall was better today. We were selling Lancashire cheese and cheese and onion bakes. It was a pirate themed day and there were lots of people dressed as pirates and also the Lytham Shanty Group who were very good and sang shanties and pirate themed songs. It was a lot busier than it has been recently.

Romiley Village market -July

We were back at Romiley on Saturday. It was the first proper rainy market I've done for ages. it rained hard all morning, thanks everyone who still came along! The rain made it a bit quieter than normal but I enjoyed the band. They played the Super Mario theme song and the Cantina song from Star Wars which was fun.

Hoghton Tower Farmers Market - June

It was nice and sunny all day and very hot later on at Hoghton Tower. We were all attacked by swarms of midges early on, they were biting my arms and nose. Sadly it went really quiet after about twelve so we had a poor day. We sold some black peas early on but then they slowed right down as well. I hope it is better next month. We were in a new spot next to the doorway of the tower but that didn't hurt us at all.

Summer Fair at St Ann's Community Center, Wigan

Thsi was a nice little Summer Fair at Beech Hill, in Wigan. It was a lovely sunny day and a good venue with a very nice Community Garden to look at. We were selling Lancashire cheese and cheese and onion bakes. There was a steel band to listen to and lots of stalls.

Romiley Village market - June

It was a lovely hot sunny day at Romiley this month. We were selling cheese, cheese and potato bakes and ice cream. It was a lot quieter than last month, but we still had a decent day, thanks everyone who came along! I guess it was a bit quieter as it was half term and a lot of people had gone away or for a day out in the lovely weather. We'll be back next month!
