Hoghton Tower Farmers Market - February

Hoghton Tower was good this month. Luckily it was a really nice sunny day, with no wind. We were selling black peas, and pumpkin and lentil soup, both of which sold out. Also I manaaged to sell twenty ice creams which was great! We'll be back next month and I'll make more soup and black peas.

Appley Bridge Farmers Market February

Appley Bridge was better this month, we managed to sell ten ice creams. Also most of our cheese, as shown in the picture above, though we didn't take very much. We'll be back there next month as usual on the 17th of March. I've ran out of vanilla ice cream now so I'll have to get going on making more next week.

Smithills Craft and Food Market

Yesterday we went along to the first new Smithills Craft and Food Market at Smithills School. It's just round the corner for us, which is great. It was very very cold. We were selling just cheese outside in the car park. We did well and will be going to the next one on the 10th of March. If it warms up a bit we will take ice cream next time, and also cheese bakes and other things.

Hornby Farmers Market - January

Hornby Farmers Market was great on Saturday. Here's a couple of photos from on the road to Hornby, and one of our new vegetable samosas. They went really well! My brother made his own filo pastry for them which was really good.

The next market is a new one at Smithills School in Bolton, on Saturday 11th February. I hope its good. We will most likely be selling just cheese, as it's too cold to do ice cream at a new event.

Hoghton Tower Farmers Market - January

Yesterdays' market at Hoghton Tower was our first of the year. It was sunny but very cold. We did a lot better than last January, it was a little quiet but not too bad. We were selling ice cream (we sold 5 to some brave souls), Moroccan spicy chickpea soup and black peas.

Hoghton Tower Farmers Market - December

Our last market of the year, at Hoghton Tower, went really well. We sold out of soup and black peas even though I had made twice as much as usual. Now I can have a Christmas break. Luckily the weather was sunny even though it was very cold and snowy.
