Cuerden Valley Farmers Market - August

It was a nice sunny day at Cuerden Valley but it was a little quiet. Maybe because it was the bank holiday weekend and there is a lot of other things on. We'll be back next month. We were selling black peas and ice cream.

Hoghton Tower Farmers Market - August

It really felt like Autumn at Hoghton Tower on Sunday. It was fairly cold and rained a few times, but mainly the day was full of freakishly strong winds. We did well in the end and sold all our soup and a lot of black peas. Thanks everyone! We'll be back next month with more soup and peas, when it really will be Autumn. Maybe it'll be nice and sunny.

Harpers Lane Allotment Open Day

We were very worried about the Harpers Lane Allotments Open Day this year as the forecast was for ex hurricane Bertha to bring us terrible weather all day and we thought no one would come. Luckily the rain eased at twelve and then it even went nice and sunny for an hour or two. Lots of people came along and it was a great day, until the rain returned at three. We sold lots of ice cream and cheese. Thanks everyone for coming along!

Romiley Farmers Market - August

It was a miserable day for weather for Romiley Market this month. Sadly it was very quiet as not many people came out. We'll try again next month. The Stockport Ukulele Players were playing and were a good laugh. There were a lot of them.

Ashley Cricket Club Farmers Market and Beer Festival

Yesterday we were at Ashley Cricket Club's Farmers market and Beer Festival. It was quiet in the morning as the rain on Saturday night had cancelled the morning game, but once the afternoons cricket game started it got busy. We got to drink very nice beer from the Beer Festival and watch the cricket while we sold stuff so it was a very nice day. We were selling cheese, pasties, cheese and potato bakes and ice cream. It was a mainly sunny day but there was a strong wind blowing the gazebo about.

Levenshulme Farmers Market - July

Levenshulme was a very hot sunny day this month. We were selling cheese, cheese and potato bakes and ice cream. It was very tiring in the heat! We'll be back next month.
